Welcome to new patients from Dr Ashton's list - 1st April 2011

The partners and staff of Brunswick House Medical Group would like to welcome patients who have joined us from Dr Ashton’s practice.

We appreciate that any change can often generate some anxiety and uncertainty. We hope that you will be able to build a good relationship with members of our team and over the coming months you will gain confidence in our abilities to meet your health needs.

We are working very closely with the health authority (“PCT”) to ensure that the transition from Dr Ashton’s practice to Brunswick House is as smooth as possible.

All consultations at the surgery are by appointment. Please contact the surgery on 01228 515808 if you need to arrange to see a nurse or doctor.

Information about Brunswick House and the services we offer is detailed on this website and in our practice booklet which will be available from the surgery reception from the 1st April. The main surgery reception (72 Warwick Road) is open on weekdays between 8.15am and 6pm. The branch reception (1 Eastern Way, Harraby) is open on weekdays from 8.15 to 1pm.

We hope that you will make time over the coming 2-3 months to come and meet us. Please contact our reception (01228 515808 to request a “new” patient medical” with one of our Health Care Assistants.

For those patients who will soon require repeat prescriptions, can we ask that you bring to our reception or to your registration medical detail of what you need. To ensure safety, this should be an up-to-date computer printed request form issued from the practice recently or if this is not available, can you bring the medication boxes demonstrating the labelled doses.
If you have any queries about your repeat prescriptions can you speak to our Medicines Manager, Caroline Taylor at the surgery.

We have an extensive practice team of Doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, health care assistants as well as a great admin support team. We also have close working relationships with many of the community services for physical and mental health problems.

We look forward to meeting you and offering you many years of good service and support in whatever way is necessary to enable you to remain well and active in the years ahead.
